Job summary

BCG Attorney Search in Woodbridge, NJ seeks a Workers' Compensation Associate to join our litigation team. You will represent clients in hearings, depositions, and mediations while collaborating with senior attorneys on complex cases.

Ideal candidates hold a JD from an ABA-approved law school, active NY/NJ licenses, and experience in workers' compensation; strong time management and communication skills are essential in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.

Qualifications

• JD degree from ABA-approved law school.
• Active license in good standing in New York and New Jersey.
• Workers' Compensation experience preferred.
• Proficiency in MS Office 365, ProLaw, Excel, and e-document management software.
• Self-motivated independent thinker with excellent time management skills.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to work as a team member in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct legal research and analysis on various legal issues.
• Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, briefs, and agreements.
• Represent clients in court hearings, depositions, and mediations.
• Collaborate with senior attorneys on complex cases.
• Maintain billable hours as necessary.
• Manage client relationships and a caseload with supervision.
• Assist in the representation of clients in motion practice, conferences, mediations, and trials when necessary.
