Job summary

Harding Mazzotti, LLP is seeking a Workers’ Compensation Paralegal to support attorneys and other paralegals in pursuing workers’ compensation claims. This full-time, on-site role offers a 37.5-hour work week and a collaborative office environment.

The ideal candidate will have strong PC skills (Windows, Outlook, Word, Excel), excellent communication, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of PC applications, Windows, and Microsoft Office.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Exceptional phone etiquette and comfortable speaking on the phone.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to multitask.

Responsibilities

• Electronic filing of claims and appeals
• Handle correspondence with claimants, medical offices, and agencies
• Extensive phone contact with agencies, clients, medical providers, and insurance companies
• Review incoming mail
• Prepare a case for hearings
• Assist attorneys with post-hearing follow-up
• Other duties as assigned
