Job summary

NACBA in Minnesota is seeking a full-time workers’ compensation paralegal or legal assistant to support attorneys with pleadings, discovery, scheduling, e-filing, and case prep for conferences and hearings. The role includes client and insurer communications, intake duties, and problem solving for injured workers.

Office-based in the northern suburbs. Experience in workers’ compensation or claims handling is preferred; salary and benefits are negotiable.

Qualifications

• Paralegal or Legal Assistant with 2+ years experience.
• Microsoft Office proficiency (1 year usage) is required.

Responsibilities

• Draft pleadings, respond to discovery, schedule, e-file, and prepare cases for conferences and hearings.
• Maintain contact with clients, claims representatives, and opposing attorneys.
• Answer calls and emails, perform client intakes, and problem solve for injured workers.

Workers' Compensation Paralegal or Legal Assistant

Small workers’ compensation law office in the northern suburbs seeking a full-time paralegal and/or legal assistant, preferably with experience in workers’ compensation law or claims handling. Duties will include directly assisting attorneys with drafting pleadings, responding to discovery, scheduling, e-filing, and preparing cases for conferences and hearings. Duties will also include maintaining contact with clients, claims representatives, and opposing attorneys. Duties will also include answering incoming calls and emails, performing client intakes, and problem solving on behalf of injured workers.
