Carpenter, McCadden & Lane, LLP seeks an attorney to join its workers' compensation defense team in the Harrisburg area. The role starts remotely and will transition to in-person as a Central PA office is established.

Qualifications

• J.D. degree from an accredited law school and admission to the PA, WV, or NJ bar
• Strong academic record and excellent communication abilities

Responsibilities

• Conduct legal research and analysis related to workers' compensation law
• Assist senior attorneys with pleadings, motions, and briefs
• Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and medical experts
• Attend hearings, depositions, and mediations, virtually or in-person
• Collaborate to develop case strategies and maintain organized files
• Stay current on developments in workers' compensation law
