Job summary

Cipriani & Werner P.C. seeks a Workers’ Compensation Associate Attorney for its Harrisburg/Lemoyne, PA office. The role involves legal research, drafting pleadings, and representing clients in hearings, with supervision on a growing caseload.

A JD from an ABA-approved school and PA active license are required; Workers’ Compensation experience is preferred. The position is in-person, with day travel to hearings/depositions and competitive benefits, including 401(k) matching and paid time off.

Qualifications

• JD from ABA-approved law school and active PA license in good standing.
• PA Workers’ Compensation exp. preferred.
• Proficiency with MS Office 365, ProLaw, Excel, and e-document management tools.
• Self-motivated, organized, and able to work in a high-volume, fast-paced setting.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Conduct legal research and analysis on workers’ compensation issues.
• Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and agreements.
• Represent clients in court hearings and depositions.
• Collaborate with senior attorneys on complex cases.
• Maintain billable hours and manage client relationships and caseloads.
• Assist in motion practice, conferences, and trial preparation as needed.
