Job summary

OrthoArizona is seeking a Workers' Compensation Coordinator in Phoenix, AZ to manage patient flow, registrations, and communications between patients, adjusters, and clinicians. You will enter demographic and insurance data, ensure portal access, and prepare patients for visits.

The role requires strong customer service, accuracy, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced orthopedic setting. Prior workers' compensation or orthopedic office experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Exceptional customer service and patient focus are essential.
• Knowledge of insurance, especially workers' compensation and health insurance provisions, is essential.
• Experience with an EHR such as ModMed or Athena Centricity is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Schedule workers’ compensation appointments and coordinate the scheduling of ancillary services.
• Obtain authorization and pre-certification for services as needed.
• Liaise with employers, adjusters, attorneys and physician teams on case issues.
• Enter data into the Practice Management System and ensure patient portal access.
