Qualifications

• 5–7 years of workers' compensation experience; managing cities/counties a plus.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred; three or more years of related experience.

Responsibilities

• Supervise a claims unit of 10+ personnel including Examiners and staff.
• Provide day-to-day work directions and technical guidance.
• Work with Unit Management, Client Services, and clients as a technical expert on WC claims.
• Ensure compliance with company procedures and regulatory requirements.
• Coach and mentor staff; oversee performance, quality, and workflow.
• Manage diary systems and timely completion of claim activities.
• Review and approve authority requests within delegated levels.
• Communicate with clients, claimants, counsel, and staff on claim status.
