Job summary

SWBC is seeking a talented individual to manage workers' compensation claims from injury reporting through claim closure. This role collaborates with clients, injured employees, insurance carriers, claim adjusters, HR, and payroll to support efficient claim handling and return-to-work efforts.

You will build strong relationships with clients and carriers, drive positive claim outcomes through proactive management, and provide exceptional customer service throughout the claims process.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, Risk Management & Insurance or related field from an accredited four-year college.
• Minimum of four years of experience in claims management or related field.
• Working knowledge of workers' compensation claims processes and return-to-work programs.
• Knowledge of OSHA regulations and workplace safety practices preferred.
• Spanish language ability is required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates workers' compensation claims from initial injury reporting through resolution and closure.
• Serves as primary liaison between clients, injured employees, carriers, adjusters, and internal stakeholders.
• Educates clients and injured employees on procedures, reporting requirements, and return-to-work programs.
• Provides exceptional customer service while communicating required protocols and next steps.
• Coordinates claim documentation, wage reporting, and return-to-work activities.
• Monitors claim progress and collaborates with carriers and medical providers for timely resolution.
• Maintains accurate claim records and reporting.
