Job summary

SWBC is seeking a talented individual to manage workers' compensation claims from injury reporting through claim closure. You will coordinate with clients, injured employees, insurance carriers, claim adjusters, HR and payroll to facilitate efficient claim handling and return-to-work efforts.

The role emphasizes proactive claim management, strong customer service and risk management to support client satisfaction and employee well‑being.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Risk Management and Insurance or related field preferred.
• Minimum of four (4) years of experience in claims management or related field.
• Bilingual Spanish language ability is required.
• Knowledge of workers' compensation processes and return-to-work programs is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage workers' compensation claims from injury reporting through resolution and closure.
• Serve as liaison between client companies, injured employees, carriers, adjusters, medical providers, payroll, HR and internal stakeholders.
• Educate clients and employees on procedures, reporting requirements and return-to-work programs.
• Provide exceptional customer service and guidance while ensuring protocols and obligations are understood.
• Maintain accurate claim records, documentation and reporting.
