Job summary

The Judge Group is seeking a hands-on, onsite Workers’ Compensation Coordinator to support a nationwide distribution network from the Southwest Suburbs of Chicago near Lockport. The role emphasizes administrative and operational management of the workers’ compensation program across multiple sites.

You will partner with local teams, insurance carriers, and TPAs to ensure compliant, timely reporting and accurate documentation, while driving reports, metrics, and light-duty/return-to-work

Qualifications

• 5 years of experience in workers’ compensation, safety, HR, risk management, or a related function.
• Knowledge of workers’ compensation claims processes, incident reporting, and return-to-work programs.
• Experience working with insurance carriers, TPAs, or claims partners.
• Knowledge of OSHA recordkeeping and safety-related claims management.
• Background in distribution, manufacturing, warehousing, or logistics environments.

Responsibilities

• Provide administrative and operational support for workers’ compensation programs and claims.
• Ensure timely claim reporting and accurate documentation by local teams.
• Support claim monitoring, stakeholder communication, and coordination with insurance carriers and TPAs.
• Develop and distribute workers’ compensation reports and program metrics.
• Assist with return-to-work and light-duty programs.
• Identify process improvements and support regulatory compliance.
