Job summary

Ahold Delhaize USA is seeking a Workers' Compensation Claims Manager to investigate and manage WC claims from start to finish, ensuring compliance and service targets.

You will collaborate with Safety, Brands, Legal, HR, and external partners to reduce risk and cost.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 4 years WC claims experience.
• Thorough knowledge of WC rules, regulations, statutes and procedures.
• Knowledge of medical terminology involved in complex claims.
• Strong negotiation skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage WC caseload within established targets with performance standards.
• Monitor timely execution of statutory deadlines and legal filings.
• Analyze loss facts to develop strategies and mitigate total cost of risk.
• Identify fraud indicators and pursue subrogation opportunities.
• Collaborate with Safety to identify hazards and minimize risks.
• Build relationships with internal and external customers.
