The position operates within a hybrid schedule (1 in-person day and 4 remote days) across Salisbury, NC or Quincy, MA offices, with full-time availability and United States work authorization required.

Qualifications

• Licensed adjuster or ability to obtain license
• Bachelor's degree or 4 years WC claims experience
• Thorough knowledge of WC rules, regs, statutes and procedures
• Knowledge of medical terminology in complex claims

Responsibilities

• Manage WC caseload within established targets and authority.
• Ensure timely statutory deadlines or legal filings.
• Analyze loss facts to develop strategies and minimize Total Cost of Risk.
• Identify fraud indicators and pursue subrogation opportunities.
• Collaborate with Safety to identify hazards and mitigate risks.
• Build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Manage book of claims up to $1 million WC with authority to settle up to $50,000.
• Communicate ongoing causes of WC injuries to Safety and Brands.
• Address and resolve claim issues via phone, email, and online applications.
