The role requires strong organization, clear communication, and bilingual English/Spanish proficiency to support clients throughout the litigation process.

Qualifications

• Experience in workers' compensation case management or related roles (paralegal, legal assistant).
• Familiarity with EAMS/WCAB procedures, PQME scheduling, and DOR filings.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and case management software.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to mange multiple cases.
• Strong written and verbal communication; ability to explain legal concepts clearly.

Responsibilities

• Manage the entire workers' compensation case lifecycle from intake to resolution.
• Assist handling attorney with case management and strategy, liaising with clients, medical providers, and insurers.
• Prepare, file, and serve workers' compensation documents in compliance with legal requirements.
• Schedule medical appointments (QME/AME) and organize records and reports.
• Provide proactive case updates to clients and address concerns.
• Maintain organized case files and ensure accessibility for the team.
