You will coordinate between clients, attorneys, medical providers, and insurance companies to ensure top-tier representation and care throughout the client journey.

The ideal candidate has 1-2 years of related case management or legal support experience, familiarity with CA WC procedures, and strong communication skills in English

Qualifications

  • 1-2 years of experience in case management or legal support in workers' compensation or personal injury law.
  • Familiarity with California WC procedures, DWC forms, and PQME scheduling.
  • Ability to coordinate between attorneys, clients, medical providers, and adjusters.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and case management software.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the entire case lifecycle from intake to resolution.
  • Assist handling attorney with case management and strategy; liaise with clients, medical providers, and insurers.
  • Prepare, file, and serve workers' compensation documents in compliance with legal requirements.
  • Schedule medical appointments including QME and AME evaluations; maintain organized records.
  • Proactively communicate case updates to clients and address concerns.
  • Maintain organized case files accessible to the team.

About This Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented Workers' Compensation Case Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will manage a portfolio of cases, from intake to resolution, ensuring our clients receive the best possible representation and care throughout their journey with us. As a key member of our team, your organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to communicate effectively will be essential to your success in this role.

Your Role and Impact
  • Manage the entire case lifecycle, from new file intake to final resolution, ensuring all case milestones are met.
  • Assist the handling attorney with case management and strategy, acting as a liaison between clients, medical providers, and insurance companies.
  • Prepare, file, and serve workers' compensation documents, maintaining compliance with all legal requirements.
  • Schedule medical appointments for clients, including QME and AME evaluations, and ensure all records and reports are accurately filed and organized.
  • Proactively communicate case updates to clients, addressing their concerns and keeping them informed throughout the process.
  • Maintain organized case files and ensure all relevant documentation is accessible to the team
Your Skills and Expertise
  • Previous experience in workers' compensation case management or related roles such as a paralegal, legal secretary, or legal assistant.
  • Familiarity with EAMS/WCAB procedures, PQME scheduling, filing DORs, and organizing medical records.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and case management software.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple cases effectively.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex legal concepts to clients in a clear and empathetic manner.
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish (required).
Qualifications
  • 1-2 years of experience in case management, legal assistant work, or a related field within workers' compensation or personal injury law.
  • Familiarity with California Workers' Compensation procedures, including DWC forms, QME scheduling, and authorization workflows. Prior use of systems like EAMS is a plus.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple open cases, track deadlines, and follow up on medical reports, lien settlements, and treatment plans.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal — able to coordinate between attorneys, clients, medical providers, and adjusters professionally and clearly.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) is required
Bonus/Optional Qualifications:
  • Knowledge of lien negotiations or treatment coordination workflows
  • Experience using legal case management software
