Job summary

OrthoArizona is seeking a Workers' Comp Coordinator to join our growing orthopedic practice serving the Valley.

You will schedule appointments, handle registrations in the practice management system, obtain authorizations, and coordinate between patients, adjusters, nurse case managers, employers, and physician teams.

A high level of customer service, accuracy in data entry, and familiarity with workers' compensation processes are essential; experience with ModMed or Athena Centricity is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• At least one-year medical office administration or clinical experience preferred.
• Knowledge of Workers' Compensation or orthopedic office a plus.

Responsibilities

• Schedule workers’ compensation appointments and follow-up visits.
• Enter demographics, insurance, and work comp data into the Practice Management System.
• Obtain authorizations and pre-certifications as needed.
• Coordinate between patients, adjusters, nurse case managers, employers and physician teams.
• Ensure patient portal access and timely distribution of forms.
