The Personnel Board of Jefferson County seeks experienced Workday System Specialists to ensure accuracy, integrity, and compliance of employment records across Merit System agencies.

Responsibilities include conducting quality control reviews of employment actions and records in Workday; calculating and maintaining agency salary schedules; reviewing payroll records for certification purposes; and ensuring compliance with Personnel Board Rules and Regulations and established policies.

Qualifications

• Experience editing spreadsheet data for use with Workday or similar systems.
• Experience troubleshooting data errors within Workday or similar systems.
• Experience analyzing large datasets to identify and resolve errors.
• Experience providing end-user support on Workday processes and operations.

Responsabilités

• Performs periodic and scheduled audits of personnel actions and employment records within Workday, ensuring accuracy and compliance with board policies.
• Reviews Workday business processes and employment actions, researching issues and correcting data to ensure proper documentation and approvals.
• Assists with maintenance of Workday and related processes through testing and QA in both testing and live environments.
• Acts as Workday user support by responding to inquiries and guiding users through Workday processes to ensure system accuracy and compliance.
• Reconciles payroll records between agency systems and Workday, generating reports and resolving discrepancies to certify payroll.
• Identifies end-user training needs and conducts one-on-one or small group trainings on Workday functionality and board regulations.
• Updates supervisor org charts in Workday and validates salary schedules and changes for upload to the website.
• Updates and validates Merit System agency salary schedules by calculating percentage changes and coordinating with jurisdictions.
