The Personnel Board of Jefferson County is seeking experienced Workday System Specialists to support the accuracy, integrity, and compliance of employment records and transactions across multiple Merit System agencies.

You will conduct quality control reviews of employment actions and records in Workday, calculate and maintain agency salary schedules, review payroll records for certification, and ensure compliance with rules and regulations.

Qualifications

• Experience editing spreadsheet data for Workday or similar systems.
• Experience troubleshooting data errors within Workday or similar systems.
• Experience analyzing large datasets to identify and resolve errors.
• Experience providing end-user support for Workday processes and operations.

Responsabilités

• Audit Merit System agencies’ personnel actions and employment records in Workday for accuracy and compliance.
• Review Workday business processes and other Merit System actions; identify issues and correct/document approvals.
• Assist with maintaining Workday and related business processes through testing and QA in live and test environments.
• Provide Workday user support by addressing inquiries and guiding users through required actions.
• Reconcile payroll records between agency payroll system and Workday; generate reports and verify discrepancies.
• Identify end-user training needs and conduct one-on-one or small-group training on Workday functionality.
• Update supervisor org charts in Workday and validate salary schedules for website uploads.
• Update Merit System agency salary schedules by calculating percentage changes and coordinating with jurisdictions.
