Job summary

Pendo's People organization builds and supports the systems and processes that power the employee lifecycle. As a Workday Systems Engineer, you'll own and evolve Workday as a core part of Pendo's HCM infrastructure, managing configuration across key modules and ensuring reliable reporting, security, and integrations.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on Workday experience across HCM, Advanced Compensation, Time Tracking, and Time & Attendance.
• Experience configuring Workday business processes, security roles, and reporting including calculated fields.
• Experience partnering with HR/People/Recruiting stakeholders to translate business needs into technical solutions.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for cross-functional projects.
• Excellent communication, able to explain Workday configurations to non-technical partners.

Responsibilities

• Own Workday platform configuration across HCM modules and releases.
• Translate requirements into scalable Workday solutions and maintain reporting.
• Lead Open Enrollment configuration and go-live activities.
• Configure compensation cycles including merit, bonus, and equity.
• Ensure system reliability, security, and data integrity across integrations.
• Build and maintain reports, dashboards, and calculated fields for stakeholders.
• Evaluate Workday releases and advise adoption where beneficial.
• Document processes and provide enablement for HR partners.
• Coordinate with Workday support and implementation partners.
