Job summary

Marathon Health is seeking a Workday Workforce Administrator to serve as the functional SME for Scheduling, Time & Attendance, and Absence modules. The role combines HRIS expertise with process design, analytics, and continuous improvement to deliver accurate time capture, scheduling, and absence management across our health center workforce.

You will configure, optimize, and maintain Workday modules, partnering with Payroll, HRIS, and People Experience to ensure compliant and scalable

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, IS, Business, or related field with 3+ years configuring Workday Scheduling/Time & Attendance/Absence.
• Experience configuring and optimizing Workday functionality beyond end-user support.
• Current Workday Time Tracking and/or Absence Certification highly preferred; equivalent experience considered.
• Knowledge of wage-and-hour regulations; healthcare or multi-state employer experience a plus.
• Experience with AI tools (Microsoft Copilot and Anthropic Claude) preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; excellent written and verbal communication.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the functional SME for Workday Scheduling, Time & Attendance, and Absence modules.
• Configure, test, implement, and maintain Workday functionality including time calculations, entry templates, schedules, accrual rules, and eligibility rules.
• Configure business processes, notifications, security impacts, validations, and system functionality.
• Continuously optimize Scheduling, Time & Attendance, and Absence functionality for efficiency and adoption.
• Collaborate with Payroll, HRIS, and Legal/Compliance on related configurations and documentation.
