Job summary

Marathon Health is seeking a Workday Workforce Management Administrator to configure and optimize Scheduling, Time & Attendance, and Absence modules across a nationwide workforce. You will partner with Payroll, HRIS, and People Experience to ensure seamless data flow and compliant time capture for leaders and teammates.

The role combines Workday expertise with process design, analytics, and continuous improvement to deliver accurate time tracking, scheduling, and absence management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, Information Systems, Business, or related field and at least 3 years configuring Workday Scheduling, Time & Attendance, and Absence modules.
• Experience implementing and optimizing Workday functionality (not just end-user support).
• Experience with Workday business process configuration and testing.
• Current Workday Time Tracking and/or Absence Certification preferred, but equivalent experience considered.
• Knowledge of wage/hour, FLSA, and leave regulations; healthcare or multi-state experience a plus.
• Experience with AI tools (Microsoft Copilot, Anthropic Claude) and other AI tech preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities with accuracy and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the functional SME for Workday Scheduling, Time & Attendance, and Absence modules.
• Configure, test, implement, and maintain Workday functionality including time calculations, time entry templates, work schedules, accrual rules, and absence plans.
• Develop testing strategies for Workday updates and enhancements.
• Partner with Payroll to ensure accurate time capture and pay-impact configurations.
• Create reporting and dashboards on time, attendance, absence, and scheduling metrics.
• Maintain documentation and manage Jira tickets related to configurations.
• Stay current on AI capabilities to improve productivity and user experience.
