Job summary

Northeastern University in Boston seeks an experienced IT Business Analyst to support Workday Time Tracking and Payroll within the HR/Finance ecosystem. You will liaison with HR, Finance, IT, and university stakeholders to analyze requirements and optimize payroll processes.

The role includes project management, testing coordination, change management, and training material development, focusing on reliable Workday configurations that meet university policies and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Human Resources, Technology, or related field or equivalent experience.
Minimum of 5 years of business analysis, systems analysis, and/or technology support.
Experience supporting Workday HCM Time Tracking and Payroll, including analysis, testing, troubleshooting, and end-user support.
Strong understanding of SDLC methodologies and implementation practices.

Responsibilities

Analyze Workday HCM Time Tracking and Payroll system requirements and identify problems, gather requirements, and recommend solutions.
Document as-is and to-be processes and map requirements for interfaces.
Develop and coordinate test plans, test scripts, and participate in UAT.
Create training materials and provide system support.
