The ideal candidate will serve as a functional liaison between Human Resources, Finance, Payroll, Information Technology, and university stakeholders to support Time Tracking and Payroll systems and its business processes, operational improvements, and user experience initiatives. This role is responsible for partnering with functional teams and customers across colleges and divisions to identify business needs, support system functionality, document processes, and improve operational effectiveness through Workday configuration while ensuring compliance with university policies and regulatory requirements.
The qualified candidate will be responsible for leading functional solutions, providing project management oversight and executing on all phases of the project life cycle, including project planning and communication. In addition, the candidate will assist with planning and execution of the testing efforts including development of test cases, coordination between technical and business resources, and documentation of the testing results. In addition, the candidate will participate in change management activities including developing training materials and providing system support.
The successful candidate must demonstrate strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills, with the ability to build collaborative relationships and provide exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment.
To ensure that essential services are provided to the university community, the employee will be required to work outside their regular working hours as needed.
