Job summary

Group 1 Automotive in Houston is seeking an HRIS Analyst – Payroll, Absence & Time Tracking to configure and support Workday Payroll, Time Tracking, and Absence functionality. You will partner with Payroll, HR, Benefits, and Finance to translate business requirements into scalable solutions.

You will troubleshoot configurations, design testing scenarios, support UAT and releases, and ensure accurate data and processes across payroll and attendance.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of Workday Payroll, Absence and Time Entry configuration experience.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration with stakeholders.
• Attention to detail and data accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Configure and maintain payroll, time tracking, and absence components.
• Troubleshoot Workday configuration issues impacting payroll, time, and absence.
• Translate business requirements into Workday solutions with stakeholders.
• Develop tests and support UAT and release management.
• Validate production changes after deployment.
