Job summary

Burnett Specialists Staffing | Recruiting is seeking a Payroll Supervisor to oversee weekly, bi-weekly, and semi-monthly payrolls, ensuring accuracy and timely processing. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting/finance or 5 years equivalent experience.
• 2+ years payroll experience in a multi-location environment.
• Supervisory or leadership experience with payroll staff.
• Hands-on Workday payroll experience and tax knowledge.
• Strong attention to detail and process discipline.

Responsibilities

• Oversee preparation, documentation, and disbursement of weekly, bi-weekly, and semi-monthly payrolls.
• Ensure payroll processing is accurate and timely, aligned with policies and guidelines.
• Maintain Workday payroll system integrity with time, attendance, and benefits interfaces.
• Manage payroll processing activities including hires, terminations, pay changes, deductions, and garnishments.
• Serve as a primary point of contact for payroll inquiries and discrepancies.
• Maintain confidentiality of payroll data and employee records.
• Prepare payroll accruals and reconcile payroll to the general ledger.
• Develop, maintain, and update payroll policies and procedures.
• Hire, train, supervise payroll staff; provide coaching and performance feedback.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to resolve system interface issues.
• Contribute to team goals and drive process improvement initiatives.
