Job summary

Huron is seeking a Senior Manager to join our global consulting team as a Technical Manager. You will lead Workday Payroll implementations and HR transformation programs from planning through post-production support.

The ideal candidate has 8–10 years of Workday Payroll experience, excellent communication, and the ability to mentor staff in PM and technical areas. Willingness to travel up to 50% is expected.

Qualifications

• Must have Workday HCM certification with Payroll experience.
• Previous management consulting experience in HR transformation.
• 8–10 years of Workday Payroll implementation experience.
• Experience leading large-scale Higher Education/University clients is a plus.
• Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills.
• Able to train and mentor staff in project management and technical dimensions.
• Strong analytical skills to translate meetings into shareable docs.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% as required.

Responsibilities

• Lead the implementation lifecycle, including planning, design, build, and go-live.
• Coordinate with Huron and client teams to ensure successful delivery.
• Train and develop staff in PM and technical dimensions.
• Provide post-production support and continuous improvements.
