Job summary

Huron is seeking a Senior Manager to join our Chicago-based team as a Technical Manager. You will lead the Workday Payroll implementation and HR transformation efforts for large-scale clients, coordinating with Huron and client teams through the full project lifecycle.

You will mentor team members, shape project deliverables, and manage multiple engagements with a focus on performance, reliability, and client value. Domestic travel up to 50% may be required.

Qualifications

• Workday HCM certification - Payroll required.
• Prior management consulting experience in HR transformation.
• Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
• Ability to train and contribute to professional development of staff in project management and technical dimensions.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% as requested by client.

Responsibilities

• Lead implementation life cycle: planning, configuration, design, build, conversion, training, go-live and post-production support.
• Collaborate with Huron and client teams to drive strategic HR transformation projects.
• Provide leadership and design documentation; manage multiple projects of varying scale and duration.
• Develop and train staff in PM and technical dimensions.
