Job summary

Huron is seeking a Senior Manager to join our global consulting team as a Technical Manager. You will lead Workday Payroll implementations and HR transformation programs from planning through post-production support.

The ideal candidate has 8–10 years of Workday Payroll experience, excellent communication, and the ability to mentor staff in PM and technical areas. Willingness to travel up to 50% is expected.

Qualifications

• Must have Workday HCM certification with Payroll experience.
• Previous management consulting experience in HR transformation.
• 8–10 years of Workday Payroll implementation experience.
• Experience leading large-scale Higher Education/University clients is a plus.
• Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills.
• Able to train and mentor staff in project management and technical dimensions.
• Strong analytical skills to translate meetings into shareable docs.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% as required.

Responsibilities

• Lead the implementation lifecycle, including planning, design, build, and go-live.
• Coordinate with Huron and client teams to ensure successful delivery.
• Train and develop staff in PM and technical dimensions.
• Provide post-production support and continuous improvements.

Qualifications

• Workday HCM certification - Payroll
• Prior management consulting experience in HR transformation
• Should have 8-10 years of Workday Payroll implementation experience.
• Leading large scale clients preferably in Higher Ed/University settings is a huge plus
• Excellent communication skills - oral and written - and the interpersonal skills needed to quickly to establish relationships of trust and collaboration
• The ability to train and participate in the professional development of Huron staff in both project management and technical dimensions

The estimated base salary range for this job is $130,000 - $190,000. The range represents a good faith estimate of the range that Huron reasonably expects to pay for this job at the time of the job posting. The actual salary paid to an individual will vary based on multiple factors, including but not limited to specific skills or certifications, years of experience, market changes, and required travel. This job is also eligible to participate in Huron's annual incentive compensation program, which reflects Huron's pay for performance philosophy. Inclusive of annual incentive compensation opportunity, the total estimated compensation range for this job is $156,000 - $222,000. The job is also eligible to participate in Huron's benefit plans which include medical, dental and vision coverage and other wellness programs. The salary range information provided is in accordance with applicable state and local laws regarding salary transparency that are currently in effect and may be implemented in the future.
