Davidson Hospitality Group in Atlanta, GA is seeking a hands‑on Corporate Director of Payroll & Payroll Compliance to lead Workday payroll across a multi‑state enterprise serving 13,000+ team members. You’ll drive compliance, partner with HR, Finance, and Operations, and develop a high‑performing payroll team.

This hybrid role requires relocation to the Atlanta area and onsite presence in Dunwoody four days a week.

Qualifications

• Workday Payroll experience is required (config, processing, troubleshooting).
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field preferred.
• Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) certification required.
• 10+ years of progressive payroll experience, including leadership in a multi-state environment.
• Proven experience leading and developing high-performing payroll teams.
• Advanced Excel and payroll reporting capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end payroll processing for weekly and bi-weekly cycles across entities.
• Ensure accurate, timely, compliant payroll for 10,000+ employees across states.
• Oversee third-party transmissions and reconciliations (ADP, OSV, etc.).
• Drive Workday Payroll system implementations, enhancements, and integrations.
• Partner with HR, Finance, and Operations to solve payroll issues and optimize processes.
