Job summary

Attain Partners in McLean, VA seeks a strategic Workday payroll consultant to guide ERP readiness and advisory efforts across enterprise transformation initiatives. This role emphasizes shaping the vision and guiding the journey, leveraging your Workday payroll experience to influence decisions for education, nonprofit, healthcare and government clients.

As a key advisor, you will shape client strategy, lead stakeholder alignment, and oversee the end-to-end Payroll lifecycle, including releases

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on configuration experience in Workday payroll as a Workday customer or systems implementor.
• 3+ years of product ownership experience in Workday payroll and other Workday HCM modules as a Workday customer or consultant.
• Experience defining and managing execution of agile release management processes including backlog management, roadmap definition, prioritization, sprint planning and change control.
• Demonstrated knowledge of Workday payroll solution and Workday ecosystem.

Responsibilities

• Guide ERP Readiness and Advisory: conduct assessments, roadmaps and advise clients on ERP decisions.
• Shape Client Strategy: collaborate with client leaders to define vision and align tech investments with outcomes.
• Facilitate Stakeholder Alignment: lead meetings and workshops and manage relationships with third parties.
• Advise with Leading Practice: provide Workday expertise and practical solutions.
• Provide Operational Leadership: manage end-to-end Payroll solution lifecycle across configuration, integration and reporting.
• Direct Workday Releases: support biannual releases and system enhancements for platform stability.
• Drive Sustainment Planning: plan future-state Payroll organization aligned with Workday HCM and Payroll.
