DrinkPAK, LLC is seeking a Payroll Specialist to manage bi-weekly payroll for roughly 450 employees at our Southern California facility. You will review timecards, ensure regulatory compliance, and prepare payroll reports for management.

Qualifications include a bachelor’s degree in a related field and 6–12 months experience with Workday Payroll, Time Tracking, and Absence. The role is on-site in Philadelphia, PA, with comprehensive benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field preferred
• At least 1–2 years of experience in California payroll processing or accounting roles
• At least 6 months to 1 year of experience in Workday Payroll, Time Tracking & Absence
• FPP designation preferred, not required
• Bilingual (English & Spanish) preferred
• Comfortable in an open workspace
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Well-organized with attention to detail and multi-tasking ability
• Knowledge of IRS and state payroll regulations preferred
• Ability to meet deadlines with a right-the-first-time mentality
• Advanced Skills in Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
• Continuous improvement mindset

Responsibilities

• Process bi-weekly payroll for approximately 450 employees in Southern California
• Review timecards daily for missing punches and notes to ensure timely payroll processing
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll tax regulations and reporting
• Prepare and analyze payroll reports, present findings to Payroll Manager
• Investigate and resolve payroll discrepancies and respond to inquiries
• Maintain payroll records and prepare reports for management
• Initiate off-cycle payments as needed
• Collaborate with HR and Accounting to ensure accurate payroll processing
• Monitor changes in wage-hour, garnishments, 401(k) rules
• Ensure timely approval of timecards by supervisors
• Data entry accuracy in payroll system
• Process garnishment orders and assist with ad hoc projects
