Job summary

Pima County is seeking an innovative Training and Development Officer to configure Workday LMS and Performance Management, and to design learning solutions for over 7,000 employees. You will work with HR staff and departments to translate needs into system configurations, develop courses, and support organizational learning and performance.

The role emphasizes analytical thinking, attention to detail, and building strong stakeholder relationships within a values-driven county.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in public administration, business administration, human resources, management, training and development or related field.
Two years of professional-level experience developing or evaluating lesson plans and conducting training in an adult learning environment.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and update ILT courses with PowerPoint, Storyline, and other tools.
Facilitate training for County employees in HR, IT and Safety applications.
Plan and maintain curricula for HR, Organizational Development, Employee Development and Leadership.
Create online courses, including e-learning and SCORM-compliant content.
Configure and test Workday LMS and Performance Management modules.
