Job summary

Nava Public Benefit Corp. is seeking a Workday Administrator for a 1099 independent contractor role focused on Integrations, Studio & Projects, and core HCM configuration. The role partners with the HCM Manager to ensure a reliable, auditable Workday environment and ongoing improvements.

The position is remote (US-based) with a 6-month contract and potential conversion to direct hire. Requires 3–5 years of hands-on Workday experience and HCM certification.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of hands-on Workday administration experience.
• Workday HCM certification.
• Ability to build reports and configure Business Processes across multiple Workday modules.
• Experience with data loads (EIBs) and data migration.
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
• Ability to execute within an established architecture/governance framework and escalate appropriately to the HCM Manager.
• Excellent communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences.
• Experience with agile project methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Build and configure Workday Business Processes (BPs), rules, and notifications within standards set by the HCM Manager.
• Administer Workday security changes and perform access reviews; escalate exceptions.
• Develop standard and custom reports and dashboards for day-to-day needs.
• Perform data audits, validation, and reconciliation across Workday and connected systems; remediate issues.
• Support data loads (EIBs) and mass data updates per data standards.
• Monitor Workday releases; conduct impact analysis and testing; coordinate UAT.
• Provide first-line support and end-user training for the teams.
• Own day-to-day Workday incidents and service requests end-to-end.
