Job summary

Carta’s Workday Integrations Architect role is a hands-on position within the People Platform team. You will own the end-to-end integration pipeline — from design and configuration to deployment and production support — ensuring seamless connections via Studio, Orchestrations, Core Connectors, EIB, RaaS, and REST/SOAP APIs.

You will ensure data integrity across inbound and outbound integrations, govern the lifecycle with migrations and release cycles, and advise HR, IT, and business stakeholders

Qualifications

• 8+ years general Workday experience with 4+ years in Workday integrations.
• Fluency in Workday data model and processes across modules.
• Proficient in XML, XSLT, JSON, SQL and API authentication.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end integration pipeline from design to production support.
• Maintain data integrity across inbound/outbound integrations.
• Govern integration lifecycle including migrations and releases.
• Advise stakeholders on design patterns for scalable solutions.
• Extend Workday capabilities with Extend and automation features.
• Maintain connections to Greenhouse, HireVue and others.
