Job summary

Carta is seeking a Workday Integrations Architect to own the end-to-end integration pipeline, designing, configuring, and deploying Workday integrations that connect with internal HR systems and external partners, ensuring data integrity, security, and compliance at scale across a global workforce.

You’ll collaborate with the People Platform team—HR, IT, and engineering—to govern code migrations, Runbooks, and release cycles, while expanding Workday capabilities with Extend, calculated fields,

Qualifications

• 8+ years of Workday experience with 4+ years in integrations.
• Deep knowledge of Studio, Orchestrations, Core Connectors, EIB, RaaS, REST and SOAP.
• Strong Workday data model understanding across Core HCM, Payroll, Absence, Time Tracking, Benefits.
• Experience in global, multi-region data flows and compliance.
• Familiarity with Workday Extend; knowledge of AI/LLMs is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end Workday integration pipeline from design to production.
• Ensure data integrity across inbound/outbound integrations with mapping and validation.
• Govern the integration lifecycle: migrations, testing, and release adoption.
• Advise stakeholders on design patterns for scalable, maintainable solutions.
• Extend Workday capabilities via Extend, calculated fields, and automation.
• Maintain external connections (Greenhouse, HireVue, etc.) for HR tech ecosystem.
