Job summary

Fluence, a global energy storage and software leader, seeks an experienced HR Operations & Systems Manager (Workday) to oversee global HRIS and Americas HR operations. You will drive day-to-day Workday configuration, reporting, and process improvements to deliver accurate data and outstanding employee experience.

The role requires 5–9+ years in HRIS with Workday expertise, strong leadership, and a strategic mindset to optimize Core HCM, Compensation, Absence, and Talent/Performance modules.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, or Information Technology; 5–9+ years of progressive HRIS experience with Workday focus.
• Deep knowledge of Workday HCM modules, configurations, business processes, and reporting.
• Strong Excel skills (VLOOKUP, INDEX, etc.) and ability to manipulate large datasets.
• Proven leadership, communication, and collaboration across multiple stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day Workday configuration, security, user access, and module upgrades.
• Lead HRIS maintenance, optimization, and integrations with other systems.
• Develop custom reports, dashboards, and analytics for workforce insights.
• Drive process improvements and automation to enhance HR operations.
• Manage Workday projects from requirements through testing and deployment.
• Support payroll, benefits, and lifecycle events with accurate data and timing.
• Mentor HRIS and operations staff; ensure data integrity and compliance.
