Job summary

Ventas, Inc. in Chicago, IL, seeks a Manager, HR Systems to own Workday end-to-end, configure processes, manage governance with HR, Finance, Payroll and IT. This role leads backlog, ensures timely delivery, and coordinates with an AMS partner to optimize the platform across the employee lifecycle.

You will implement scalable Workday solutions, develop reports and dashboards, and support audits and compliance while navigating competing priorities in a blended 3-days-in-office environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive HRIS experience with hands-on Workday configuration.
• Deep knowledge of Workday processes, security, reporting and lifecycle modules.
• Experience as primary system owner or product owner with vendor delivery accountability.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to balance priorities and work independently in a lean environment.

Responsibilities

• Own Workday intake and backlog management from submission to resolution.
• Configure and maintain Workday processes, security and org structures.
• Troubleshoot issues and lead resolution for high-impact items.
• Manage AMS partner delivery and ensure progress and quality.
• Develop HR data reporting and dashboards; support audits and compliance.
• Collaborate with HR, Finance, Payroll, IT and Internal Audit for system needs.
