Job summary

Wayne Farms in Dobson, NC is seeking an HR Data Specialist to enter transactions in the Workday HCM system and produce required departmental reports. You will collaborate with HR and Operations on metrics such as absenteeism, turnover and employee referrals.

You will validate data, serve as a point of contact for HRIS and plant leaders, train supervisors on Workday functionality, ensure I-9 and WOTC compliance, and identify opportunities to streamline HR processes while maintaining

Qualifications

• Minimum three (3) years’ experience within a human resources environment.
• Experience with HCM systems such as Workday highly preferred.
• Strong computer skills with multiple Microsoft applications.
• Proficient in English, with professional verbal and written communication.

Responsibilities

• Enter data and transactions in Workday or other databases accurately and in the correct format.
• Act as point of contact for employees, HRIS and plant leaders on Workday data.
• Research and resolve data input discrepancies or missing data when requested.
• Gather and compile data for HR/Operations metrics reporting; distribute timely.
• Oversee messaging system for location (Trumpia or similar).
• Ensure unemployment processes and complete data entry in applicable systems.
• Provide training for supervisors and managers on Workday functionality.
• Validate I-9 documentation and certify I-9 status; recertify as needed.
• Validate and complete WOTC for new hires.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement to streamline HR processes.
• Follow safety initiatives and wear PPE as required.
• Perform additional relevant duties as assigned.
