Job summary

Cracker Barrel Old Country Store, Inc. is seeking an experienced HRIS professional to serve as the Workday partner for HCM, payroll, and compensation processes.

You will support HR Business Partners and COEs, oversee Workday initiatives, and lead cross-functional teams and vendors to optimize our HR systems. You will design and maintain Workday configurations, manage master data, and test/process changes to align technology with business needs.

Qualifications

• Workday Certifications in HCM, Payroll, and/or Compensation is a plus.
• Minimum of 3 years Education: Bachelors degree in Technology or Human Resources preferred; equivalent combination of education and relevant experience will be considered.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the HRIS partner supporting HCM areas in Workday, including Performance Management, Compensation, Benefits, etc.
• Act as a consultative partner to HR Business Partners and HR Centers of Expertise in service delivery.
• Oversee the portfolio of Workday initiatives and manage cross-functional project teams and vendors.
• Design and maintain Workday configurations (e.g., Supervisory Organization, Custom Organizations).
• Maintain master data values in Workday (Job Profile, Job Family, Job Group, Roles, Custom Organization Types, Position locations).
• Test, validate, and implement Business Process changes in Workday.
• Provide input to Workday Team Lead and clients; participate in scheduled and ad hoc training to improve policy/process acumen.

What You’ll Do

• Utilizes a strong knowledge of the company's business systems, industry standards/trends, and best practices to identify opportunities to improve business processes.
• Serve as the HRIS partner supporting HCM areas in Workday, including Performance Management, Compensation, Benefits, etc.
• Serve as a strong consultative partner to HR Business Partners and HR COEs in service delivery.
• Oversee the portfolio of Workday initiatives.
• Manages cross-functional project teams and vendors.
• Drives consensus and alignment with all stakeholders.
• Design and maintain system configuration for Workday, including Supervisory Organization, Custom Organizations, etc.
• Maintain master data values in Workday (ex: Job Profile, Job Family, Job Group, Roles, Custom Organization Types, Position locations).
• Test, validate, and implement Business Process changes in Workday.
• Work in order to meet expected business performance goals by providing full range of customer service.
• Provide input to Workday Team Lead, Workday Team Members, and clients as appropriate.
• Participate in scheduled and ad hoc training in order to improve policy and process acumen.
• Analyze current business/workflow processes and requirements within HR to align technology with strategic initiatives.

Education & Experience

• Workday Certifications in HCM, Payroll, and/or Compensation is a plus
• Minimum of 3 years Education: Bachelors degree in Technology or Human Resources preferred Equivalent combination of education and relevant experience will be considered
