Job summary

Accord Technologies Inc. in Atlanta, GA is seeking a Workday HCM - Payroll Lead to design, configure, and deliver the Payroll workstream for a higher education/government client.

The role requires a Workday Payroll Certification and prior Payroll leadership experience. You will guide the payroll team, demonstrate system features to the client, document requirements, support testing and rollout, and coordinate cutovers with stakeholders.

Hybrid work arrangement in Atlanta with travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Must hold Workday Payroll Certification.
• Experience delivering payroll in higher education or government contexts is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, configuration, and delivery of the Workday Payroll workstream for a higher education/government client.
• Provide functional payroll knowledge, demonstrate software features to clients, document requirements and design decisions, and support testing and rollout.
• Oversee Payroll support team members and ensure successful end-to-end Payroll delivery.
• Develop Deliverables: User Stories; End-to-End testing scenarios; Payroll Compare planning and execution; communicate next steps to address gaps.

• Provides functional knowledge for Payroll, demonstrates software features to clients, documents requirements and design decisions, provides knowledge transfer to the client team, configures the software, and supports testing and rollout.
• Responsible for Payroll support team members. Role requires prior Workday Payroll experience.
• Expected Deliverable(s): User Stories; End-to-End testing scenarios; Payroll Compare planning and execution, including communications to the client on next steps to address gaps; input into the cutover plan
