Job summary

The State Accounting Office is seeking an IT Enterprise Business Analyst 3–4 to optimize the Workday platform for HCM, payroll, time & absence, and related business processes. You will translate stakeholder requirements into configurations and mentor junior analysts.

Responsibilities include configuring modules, analyzing processes, building reports, and coordinating with IT teams to ensure smooth system operation and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Associate degree and five years of related experience or five years of job-specific experience, including system analysis, design and development, and relationship management.
• Experience with Workday HCM, Payroll, or other modules.
• Proven track record in ERP/CRM implementations and data migration.

Responsibilities

• Configure and optimize Workday modules (HCM, Payroll, Benefits) to meet business requirements.
• Gather, document, and prioritize business needs with stakeholders.
• Analyze processes, propose improvements, and support cost reductions.
• Build custom reports/dashboards for business insights.
• Develop/test plans; validate configurations and updates.
• Engage stakeholders and coordinate with IT teams.
• Support design, testing, and rollout of new systems or processes.
• Create functional specs and process diagrams; mentor junior analysts.
