Job Description: The State Accounting Office (SAO) provides accounting and financial reporting expertise for the State and is statutorily responsible for statewide financial reporting. The SAO also provides enterprise oversight and management of the State’s Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system, accounting policy development, financial business process improvement recommendations, and management of the payroll and accounting shared service centers.

Job Summary Responsible for analyzing, configuring, and supporting the Workday platform to optimize human capital management (HCM), payroll, Time and Absence, and other business processes. This role involves working with stakeholders to understand business requirements, translating them into system configurations, and ensuring the smooth operation and continuous improvement of the Workday system. The Business Analyst will serve as a subject matter expert (SME) and mentor junior analysts.
Minimum Qualifications: This position will be filled at a level commensurate with the selectee’s education and experience at one of the following levels: IT Enterprise Business Analyst 3 (HCM) - (ITP182) Pay Grade: N Salary Range: $62,331.12 - $81,955.29 Associate degree and three (3) years of related experience; or two (2) years of experience at the lower-level IT Enterprise Busi Analyst 2 (ITP181) or position equivalent. IT Enterprise Business Analyst 4 (HCM) - (ITP183) Pay Grade: O Salary Range: $69,134.16 - $91,309.47 Associate degree and five (5) years of related experience or five (5) years of job-specific experience, including system analysis, design and development, and relationship management.
