Job summary

Planet Group seeks an HCM Integrations Lead for an 8-month contract to design, develop and deliver Workday HCM integrations. This hands-on leadership role focuses on scalable, secure solutions and AI-enabled automation within Enterprise Applications.

You will mentor Workday developers, oversee EIB, Workday Studio, and other integration tools, and collaborate with HR, IT and business stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of HCM technical experience, including 8+ years of Workday integrations and technical solution delivery.
• Proven experience leading Workday technical teams and enterprise-scale implementations.
• Strong expertise in Workday Studio, EIB, Core Connectors, PECI, PICOF, CCB, Workday APIs, and web services.
• Experience with Workday Extend, Orchestrate, and AI-enabled automation.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, implementation, and support of Workday integrations and technical solutions.
• Serve as the technical lead for Workday initiatives, ensuring scalable, secure, and high-performing solutions.
• Provide architectural guidance across Workday Integrations, Extend, APIs, Orchestrate, and AI-enabled solutions.
• Lead and mentor Workday developers and integration consultants, including code reviews and technical oversight.
• Partner with HR, Payroll, IT, and business stakeholders to translate business requirements into effective technical solutions.
• Establish technical standards, governance processes, and best practices across the Workday platform.
• Oversee integration development using EIB, Workday Studio, Core Connectors, PECI, PICOF, CCB, XSLT, REST/SOAP APIs.
• Drive adoption of Workday Extend, Workday AI/Illuminate, and automation capabilities.
• Manage technical deliverables, project timelines, risks, dependencies, and production support activities.
• Ensure compliance with security, audit, and data governance requirements.
• Troubleshoot complex integrations and platform issues, including root-cause analysis and long-term remediation.
• Collaborate with internal and external partners to evaluate new Workday capabilities and platform enhancements.

About the Role

This is a contract opportunity for an HCM Integrations Lead supporting an Enterprise Applications team. This is a hands-on technical leadership role focused on the design, development, and delivery of Workday HCM integrations and enterprise integration solutions.

• Familiarity with Agile methodologies, JIRA, ServiceNow, and DevOps practices.
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication, presentation, and leadership skills.
• Workday certifications in Integrations, Extend, or related areas are highly desirable.
• Experience with Microsoft Copilot, Generative AI, and AI-enabled workforce solutions is a plus.
