Job summary

A consulting technology firm is looking for an experienced HR Functional Lead to oversee Time, Absence, and Payroll in Workday. This role requires 7+ years in Workday Configuration and experience with HCM systems. You'll be responsible for planning prototypes and ensuring smooth transitions, leading design decisions, and executing system testing. This contract role is for 3 months with a possibility of extension, located in Madison, WI.

Summary:

This position is responsible for leading the HR functional Lead - Time, Absence, Payroll, HCM

Responsibilities:

• Plan and lead building of Time and Absence prototype tenants and migration to Production.
• Lead design decisions and ensure cohesiveness with other areas of the Workday HCM system
• Oversee and execute system testing
• Partner with business subject matter experts to ensure appropriate configuration
• Understand unique business requirements and translate into system configuration
• Appropriately escalated risks

Experience Requirements:

• 7 years of experience in Workday Configuration
• HCM systems experience and the technical aptitude and capability to configure the product to meet the business requirements
• Ability to meet deadlines
