Job summary

Tier4 Group is seeking a Workday Financials Technical Lead to oversee and optimize the Workday Financial Management platform. This role will partner closely with Finance, Accounting, and Technology teams to drive system enhancements, integrations, security, governance, and ongoing platform performance.

A growing organization is seeking a Workday Financials Technical Lead to oversee and optimize its Workday Financial Management platform. This role will partner closely with Finance, Accounting, and Technology teams to drive system enhancements, integrations, security, governance, and ongoing platform performance.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the technical owner and subject matter expert for Workday Financial Management
• Partner with Finance and Accounting stakeholders to support business operations and evolving requirements
• Manage and prioritize the Workday Financials roadmap
• Gather business requirements and translate them into scalable system solutions
• Maintain documentation including business processes, configurations, and requirements
• Lead testing, release management, and impact analysis for Workday updates
• Troubleshoot and resolve Workday Financials issues while supporting end users
• Own and support the Workday integration ecosystem including EIBs, Core Connectors, Workday Studio, and REST/SOAP APIs
• Manage Workday security, data governance, compliance, and audit requirements
• Ensure data integrity across Workday and downstream systems

Required Qualifications

• 5-10 years of experience supporting enterprise systems, ideally within Finance or Accounting environments
• 3+ years of hands-on Workday Financials experience in a Lead, Analyst, Product Owner, or similar role
• Strong understanding of finance and accounting processes and controls
• Experience with Workday business process configuration, security, testing, and release management
• Hands-on experience with Workday integrations including EIB, Studio, Core Connectors, and REST/SOAP APIs
• Experience supporting post-production and post-implementation Workday environments
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Workday Financials Certification
• Experience working with Workday AMS partners or consultants
• Experience supporting Finance and Accounting teams in a Workday environment
