Job summary

iSoftStone seeks a senior Workday Financials expert to lead architecture and delivery for large-scale implementations in California. You will define scope, design the solution, and drive governance with a focus on data migration, reporting, and integrations.

The role requires strong English communication and the ability to present complex solutions to clients, with availability to start immediately on a project/part-time basis if needed.

Qualifications

• At least 8 years of Workday experience including large-scale Financials implementations.
• Experience as a Workday Financials Solution Architect or Lead Consultant.
• Strong knowledge of Workday integration technologies (Web Services, Workday Studio, EIB, APIs, XML, XSLT).

• Design the overall Workday Financials implementation and integration solution.
• Help develop the implementation approach, project plan, milestones, and governance model.

• Identify risks and technical challenges and craft mitigation plans.
• Support development of the technical proposal, bid response, and client presentation.

Job description

Review the client’s requirements and help define the project scope, deliverables, assumptions, dependencies, and responsibility boundaries

Design the overall Workday Financials implementation and integration solution

Help develop the implementation approach, project plan, milestones, and delivery governance model

Estimate the required effort, team structure, skill mix, and resource allocation

Provide professional input for cost estimation and pricing

Identify project risks and technical challenges and recommend mitigation plans

Support the development of the technical proposal, bid response, and client presentation

Participate in internal solution discussions and, if needed, join the client presentation and technical Q&A sessions

Help evaluate the qualifications and suitability of the three proposed onsite delivery resources

Candidate requirements:

At least 8 years of Workday experience, including large-scale Workday Financials implementation projects

Experience as a Workday Financials Solution Architect, Lead Consultant, or in a similar senior role

Strong knowledge of FDM, Accounts Payable, Banking and Settlement, Procurement, Expenses, Tax, Accounts Receivable, Core Financial Accounting, Business Assets, Data Conversion and Migration, Reporting, and Prism Analytics

Strong knowledge of Workday integration technologies, including Web Services, Workday Studio, EIB, connectors, APIs, XML, and XSLT

Experience with Workday security configuration, business processes, data migration, testing, go-live, and hypercare

Ability to independently draft and review technical proposals in English and clearly present the proposed solution to the client

Strong Chinese and English communication skills are preferred

Available to start immediately or as soon as possible on a part-time or project basis
