ALKU is seeking a Senior Workday Architect to lead design, configuration and stewardship of Workday Accounting Center, Prism Analytics, and Financial Reporting. Responsibilities

• Design, configure, support, and enhance Workday Accounting Center solutions.

• Design, develop, and maintain Workday Prism datasets and data pipelines.
• Bring external data into Prism for analytics, reconciliation, and reporting.
• Develop complex Workday Financials reports (Advanced, Matrix, Composite).

Our client is seeking a senior Workday Financials Architect with deep hands-on expertise across Workday Accounting Center, Prism Analytics, and Financial Reporting to support a major enterprise transformation. All three areas are critical to the role.

This individual will serve as a hands-on functional and technical architect responsible for designing, configuring, supporting, enhancing, and troubleshooting solutions across Accounting Center, Prism, and Workday Financial Reporting. The consultant will work closely with Finance, IT, and project stakeholders to ensure financial data is accurately transformed, reconciled, reported, and leveraged throughout the Workday ecosystem.

Responsibilities:

• Design, configure, support, and enhance Workday Accounting Center solutions
• Develop and maintain Accounting Center transformation rules, accounting mappings, and transactional data processing
• Support the ingestion, transformation, reconciliation, and validation of financial data within Accounting Center
• Design, develop, and maintain Workday Prism datasets, data pipelines, transformations, and analytics solutions
• Bring Workday and external data into Prism to support financial analytics, reconciliation, and reporting requirements
• Design and develop complex Workday Financials reports, including Advanced, Matrix, Composite, and other reporting solutions
• Build and support calculated fields, report data sources, dashboards, and related Workday reporting functionality
• Partner with Finance stakeholders to understand reporting requirements and translate them into scalable Workday solutions
• Ensure consistency and accuracy of financial data across Accounting Center, Prism, and Workday reporting
• Perform complex data analysis, validation, reconciliation, and troubleshooting
• Support testing, documentation, deployment, and ongoing enhancements across all three areas
• Troubleshoot production issues and support system stability throughout the transformation
• Serve as a senior subject matter expert across Accounting Center, Prism, and Workday Financial Reporting

Required Experience:

• 5+ years of Workday experience with a strong focus on Workday Financials
• Deep hands-on experience with Workday Accounting Center
• Deep hands-on experience with Workday Prism Analytics
• Deep hands-on expertise with Workday Financial Reporting
• Strong understanding of Accounting Center architecture, transformation rules, accounting mappings, and transactional data processing
• Strong Prism experience including datasets, data pipelines, transformations, external data ingestion, and analytics
• Strong Workday reporting experience including Advanced, Matrix, Composite, and other complex financial reports
• Experience developing calculated fields, report data sources, dashboards, and financial reporting solutions
• Strong understanding of Workday Financials business processes, financial data, accounting concepts, and reporting architecture
• Experience with financial data reconciliation, validation, and troubleshooting
• Ability to gather business and technical requirements and translate them into scalable Workday solutions
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
