Job summary

Accenture is seeking a Workday Financials Lead to architect FDM/R2R solutions and guide client teams through complex, cross-functional deployments. You will lead workshops, manage budgets, and drive the overall design and implementation of Workday Financials across regions.

The role requires 3+ years in consulting with Workday Financials, strong project leadership, and experience with multi-process Workday configurations.

Qualifications

• Workday Financials Partner Certification is required.
• Minimum 3 years of consulting experience, recent Lead role.
• Minimum 3 years hands-on Workday Financials experience.
• Minimum 3 years US and/or Global Financials Operations.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent; if Associate, 6 years experience.
• Bonus points for proficiency across multiple business processes (PTP, OTC, GL, etc.).
• 6+ years implementing Workday FDM/Financials.
• Experience with other leading Cloud SaaS financial applications (NetSuite, Fusion, Oracle, SAP, Lawson).
• Advanced degree in specialization is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Identify business requirements and functional design, including process design and prototyping.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting and reporting strategies for projects.
• Develop statements of work and client proposals.
• Manage vendor relationships and lead client education workshops.
• Oversee resources and budgets on client projects and escalation points.
• Provide SME guidance for functional decisions and Workday design options.
• Mentor project staff and drive performance metrics.
• Gather requirements through client working sessions and ensure cohesive Workday FDM/R2R architecture.
