Job summary

Contra Costa County’s Auditor-Controller’s Office is seeking a Systems Accountant I to support the design, implementation, and upkeep of financial accounting systems, including Workday. You will analyze requirements, configure modules, and aid staff with reporting and training.

You’ll work under the Financial Systems Manager to ensure accurate financial data and streamlined processes across the county and district staff.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, accounting or information systems or closely related field.
• Experience with financial system analysis, support and implementation.
• Ability to troubleshoot technical issues and resolve problems efficiently.
• Knowledge of reporting tools and developing financial reports.

Responsibilities

• Resolve Workday help desk tickets.
• Create Workday job aids and assist with training.
• Develop Workday reports.
• Troubleshoot workflows spanning multiple systems.
• Assist internal staff with Excel, Word, or other business applications.
