Job summary

Ivy Tech Community College in Indiana seeks a Finance Business Analyst to optimize the vendor management process and support Workday and other financial systems across the college. You will partner with stakeholders, gather requirements, and help implement ERP configurations with a strong focus on quality and security.

The role involves configuring Workday Core Financials, Payroll, Projects, and Procurement, supporting bi-annual upgrades, building basic reports, and collaborating with module

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) from an accredited college/university.
• Minimum 3 years of business analysis, technical BA, and/or project management.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Must meet deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Excellent documentation and communication skills.
• Commitment to an inclusive environment reflecting diverse students and staff.
• Willingness to learn new functions and technologies.
• Background in computer science, finance, or accounting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Configure and support Workday Core Financials, Payroll, Projects, Grants, Procurement, and other Workday applications.
• Support bi-annual Workday upgrade processes, including testing new functionality.
• Gather, document, and analyze business requirements from internal customers and stakeholders.
• Gather, document, and analyze supplier onboarding requests through Ivy Tech Supplier onboarding system.
• Supplier creation and maintenance of information within Ivy Tech Supplier Portal and Workday Supplier.
• Sending of Supplier Onboarding vendor invitations for Systems Office supplier requests.
• Draft and revise policies and procedures based on Workday requirements.
• Build and support basic Workday reports using Report Writer and other tools.
• Acquire in-depth knowledge of Ivy Tech’s business to improve internal processes.
• Develop partnerships with other Workday module analysts and users.
• Collaborate with Workday community user groups.
• Assist with training end-users.
• Provide functional oversight of technical integrations.
• Travel within the state may be required.
