Job summary

Fort Valley State University seeks a Workday Financial Analyst (Temporary) to support the implementation and optimization of Workday Financials across the university. You will liaise between the finance team and the USG implementation group to ensure a successful ERP deployment and sustained use of Workday.

The role covers configuring modules, performing data quality checks, developing reporting structures, and driving automation opportunities in a complex university environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in information systems, finance, accounting, business administration, or a related field.
• Three to five+ years supporting Workday Financials or similar ERP systems.
• Minimum of two years leading Workday implementation efforts.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with USG implementation team to configure Workday Financials modules (GL, AP, AR, Procurement, Projects, Revenue, Asset, Cash, Close).
• Perform audits, reconciliations, and data-quality reviews during implementation.
• Support alignment with policies and regulatory requirements.
• Develop financial reporting structures and dashboards using Workday data.
• Identify process inefficiencies and recommend automation opportunities.
• Act as liaison between Finance, IT, and stakeholders to align Workday with needs.
• Document requirements for system enhancements and integrations.
• Provide end-user support and troubleshoot Workday issues.
• Develop and deliver training for system adoption.
